Wine in Moderation digital training by Sogrape

WiM digital training

Sogrape developed an online training action on Wine in Moderation and Responsible Service for employees. The training tackled topics such as anti-alcohol threats, wine culture, consumption patterns, guidelines for low-risk consumption, and the impact of abusive consumption were discussed.

Bodegas de Argentina on the moderate consumption of wine

Bodegas de Argentina promoted the Wine in Moderation programme at the Wine of Buenos Aires Meeting (Encuentro Vitivinícola Boanaerense). Giving the opportunity to wineries from Buenos Aires to present their wines, the event also gave visitors the possibility to discover wines from different regions. Bodegas de Argentina informed visitors about moderate consumption of wine through thematic chats and the distribution of materials.

Wines and Lives

Wines and Lives

“Wines and Lives” is a three-session course from the Complutense University of Madrid Summer Courses. Different experts shared their knowledge about the influence of wine in the culture and history of civilizations, as well as the benefits of moderate wine consumption and its role in the Mediterranean diet. This first edition of the initiative confirmed that wine is an integral part of Spanish culture, traditions, and way of life. Also, it shows that wine is a fundamental element in healthy lifestyle habits if consumed in moderation.

Infowine.forum Congress by ACIBEV and Sogrape

ACIBEV and Sogrape informed the participants of the 8th edition of the Infowine.forum about the consumption of alcoholic beverages through a short movie and distributed leaflets. Targeting professionals of the sector, ACIBEV and Sogrape sponsored the international winemaking congress that took place on the 25 and 26 May under the theme “The Wine Way: More, Better, Greener”.

Wine in Moderation Guidelines from Sogrape’s QR Code

Wine in Moderation’s guidelines for a moderate and responsible consumption of wine, and the messages under their “Choose| Share | Care” tagline are now downloadable on the go. Sogrape developed a poster with a QR code which was distributed at the first summer edition of “Essência do Vinho” in Oporto that took place from 2 to 4 July 2021, as part of its commitment to the Wine in Moderation programme and the National Alcohol and Health Forum.

The “Sharing Life Through Wine” campaign promotes general public awareness on the importance of the role of wine in promoting gatherings and empowering social relations, and the importance of moderate consumption. It encourages individuals to drink alcohol in moderation and promote pleasant discussion spaces. The campaign aims to open a space for dialogue using broadcast chats on the topic of wine by involving important influencers and utilizing different social media graphics.
