The World Health Organization (WHO) recently published its Discussion paper for the Web-based Consultation on the Implementation of the WHO Global Strategy to reduce the harmful use of alcohol since its endorsement and the way forward. The submission form for participation in the consultation is also now available and comments may be sent until 04 November 2019. FIVS has prepared the following DRAFT RESPONSE on the WHO document. Please send any views on the FIVS comments by no later than 01 November 2019 (end of the day, Paris time). If approved by the membership, this document will be submitted to the WHO before the 04 November 2019 deadline.
