Be part of a growing global community, working together to build a successful and sustainable future for wine.
Stay up to date with the latest updates and upcoming FIVS events.
At FIVS, collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. We partner with organisations that share our vision of a thriving, responsible, and globally connected wine sector, where our mutual goals align and our impact is stronger together.
We are proud to work alongside the following partners:
Wine in Moderation coordinates a sustainable culture of wine through its global social responsibility programme. It equips wine professionals with the tools and knowledge to communicate responsibly, while inspiring consumers to enjoy wine in a balanced, positive, and convivial way.
FIVS has been an Associated Partner since 2018, and together we continue to promote moderation and contribute to reducing harmful drinking worldwide. This partnership reflects our shared commitment to responsibility, education, and the long-term sustainability of the wine sector.
Building on this commitment, the Wine Information Council supports the programme by providing relevant, unbiased, and scientifically sound information on the health, social, and cultural aspects of wine consumption. It facilitates dialogue between researchers, health professionals, and wine organisations, ensuring credible evidence is accessible to support balanced communication and responsible drinking practices.
Through our partnership with the University of Reims, FIVS proudly supports the next generation of wine sector leaders via the Jean‑Jacques Bouffard (JJB) Scholarship.
This prestigious scholarship offers a member of the FIVS community the opportunity to attend the “Wine Law in the European Union” Fall School—an intensive, five-day programme taught in English.
Participants benefit from:
- Expert-led lectures by leading international academics
- In-depth exploration of key legal issues, from fraud to emerging no- and low-alcohol categories
- Unique access to some of Reims’ most renowned Champagne houses
- Special events, including the Annual Global Wine Law Lecture
Following successful completion of the programme and examination, participants are awarded a French university diploma.
The scholarship is awarded annually through a highly competitive process. We are grateful to the University of Reims for their continued collaboration, and to our FIVS members who contribute their expertise to the judging panel.
