When Australian Wines and New Zealand Wines visit Edinburgh

One highlight was hearing first‑hand from winemakers across Australia and New Zealand about how their businesses are faring and where they see opportunities emerging. The energy in those conversations, paired with the buzz of wine commerce in the room, really underlined the importance of the UK as a key market for both winegrowing regions.

It was also heartening to see such strong collaboration between our FIVS members, and there was genuine buoyancy from producers, with some excellent wines and compelling offers on show.

And, of course, catching up with Laura Jewell MW and Chris Stroud - always a pleasure.
