FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION

We would like to invite you to participate in the first of four Autumn 2020 FIVS Virtual Round Tables, which will take place on Tuesday, 27 October 2020, at 9:30 p.m. (Paris time) –

The United Nations Agenda for Sustainable Development and Its Relevance to the Alcohol Beverage Industry: A Conversation with John Morris

During this one-hour virtual round table, we will discuss the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and why they matter.

John Morris is the founding partner and CEO of 17 Asset Management, where he leads the firm’s day-to-day operations and oversees its SDG-aligned corporate and investment strategy. He also serves as Managing Partner and Board Member of SOCAP Global, which is the largest and most diverse impact investing community in the world. John spent 23 years at Merrill Lynch, 15 years working in London and Dubai and then in New York where he was Chairman of Latin America and Head of International Product and Marketing.

As part of the programme, FIVS will release a new publication about the alignment of its work with the SDGs, demonstrating and confirming its continuing commitment to the overall sustainability of the alcohol beverage sector.

Please register HERE by Friday, 16 October 2020 (end of business day, Paris time) if you intend to participate. Kindly contact us if you need additional time to consider whether you can join us. In order to determine the time of the call depending on your location, please consult this Time & Date Schedule. Log-in details will be sent only to those who register.

We understand that the time of the round table will be inconvenient for some, but we have only one “window of time” that will work for the vast majority. We hope that we can count on your understanding and participation!

FIVS non-members may contact the FIVS Secretariat at admin@fivs.org about attending these round tables, which are not open to members of the press.
